The results from our 2011 competition, BUGS!, have been posted. Congratulations to the winners of the Robotics Competition, Young Scholars Homeschool and the winners of the BEST Award, The Woodlands Homeschoolers. Those 2 teams are advancing to the Texas BEST regional competition at the University of North Texas. The results are available online. We will be posting photos shortly, but please be patient as we have over 300 pictures.

2011 Game Day Schedule

The 2011 schedule has been updated to include the venue for game day, Moorhead Junior High. We also want to thank teams for a great demo day. Results are available online (through bestscoring.org) and photos will be posted shortly (but it might be after game day). Congratulations to East Early College High School for having the highest score in a single match!

Total Recall Results!

The results from our 2010 competition, Total Recall, have been posted. Congratulations to the winners of the Robotics Competition, The Academy of Science & Technology, the winners of the BEST Award, Saint Agnes Academy, and 2nd place for the BEST Award, The Woodlands Homeschoolers. Those 3 teams are advancing to the Texas BEST regional competition at the University of North Texas. We will be posting the round results, achievements, photos, and videos shortly, but please be patient as we have over 125 pictures and almost 2 hours of video. Demo Day Live Scoring

Can't make it to demo day? You can see live scores right here. If you are at demo day you can view your scores and the upcoming schedule! We've also added achievements. Although they don't affect team's score or ranking, they are used to highlight the performance and capabilities of each robot. The score calculator has also been updated.

The 2010 competition page, Total Recall has been updated with game files and links plus 2 videos and 42 photos from kickoff. Confused about the scoring, an online score calculator is available.

Calling All Volunteers!

We are looking for volunteers to help us on Demo Day on October 9th and Game Day on October 15th and 16th. We will need help setting up the field as well as referees to make sure each team stays within the rules of the competition, timekeeping, judging, etc. Check our Volunteer page for more information.

North Houston BEST is now on Facebook, Twitter, and has an announcement RSS feed. You can use any of them to keep up with what's going on with North Houston BEST. We also have a YouTube channel where we'll put videos of our competitions. We've posted a video from our 2009 Competition, High Octane.

The North Houston BEST website has been updated. It now includes all information from our previous site, Five Star BEST. This includes Game information from 1999 up through 2010 with information and results from each year.
